During my recent weekend at Hotel Roya in Espot, I found a hidden gem that perfectly encapsulates the best of Spanish mountain charm. The recently refurbished room was a delightful surprise-tastefully decorated with a cozy decor that felt contemporary yet inviting, it was a haven after our adventures in the nearby Aigüestortes National Park. The hotel's café bar was the perfect spot for enjoying fresh, relaxing coffees while basking in the sun on the terrace, which is just fabulous for unwinding with good company. I was also thrilled to see a range of local dishes on the menu, proving that this hotel values Pallaresa gastronomy as much as style. Not only did the friendly staff make us feel at home, but the entire atmosphere-especially the cozy fireplace in the lounge-encouraged a lovely sense of community. If you are looking for a place that combines comfort with adventure, Hotel Roya is definitely worth considering!
